Wyoming Joins Gemalto’s Digital Driver’s License Pilot

WYDOT intends to focus its Phase One efforts mainly on enrollment and law enforcement verification.

Gemalto announces Wyoming’s recent decision to join four other jurisdictions in a pilot for digital driver’s licenses (DDLs).   In 2016, Gemalto received a government grant to support the development of a smartphone-based credential in Colorado, Idaho, Maryland and Washington D.C.
